Agreement
Using this site or buying from it means you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
Who can buy
You need to be 18 or older to order, or have a parent or guardian’s consent. We sell and ship only to the United States and Canada. An order placed for delivery anywhere else will be cancelled and refunded in full.
Your account
You do not need an account to buy. If you make one, keep your password to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend an account being used to break these terms.
Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send your confirmation email, and that is when the contract starts. We may decline any order — including for suspected fraud, a pricing error, or stock we cannot get — and if we do, we refund it in full.
Prices and currency
All prices are in US dollars. Prices can change, but never after you have placed an order. If a price is obviously wrong we will correct it before charging you and give you the choice to go ahead at the right price or cancel.
Taxes and duties
We do not currently charge sales tax, GST, HST or VAT on any order.
An order crossing a border may attract duty or import charges set by the destination country. Those are not included in the price and are the recipient’s responsibility.
Payment
Stripe processes every payment. We never see or store your full card number.
Shipping and risk
Shipping is free to the United States and Canada. We process orders in 1–3 business days and transit usually takes 7–14 business days. Those are estimates, not guarantees of a particular date. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Full detail is on our Shipping page.
Returns
You have 30 days from delivery to return an item for a full refund. See Returns & Refunds for how.
If your order does not arrive
If we have not delivered your order within 30 days of the delivery date we gave you, you may cancel it and we will refund you in full. This is your right under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002, and nothing in these terms limits it.
Product information
Specifications come from the manufacturer and are given in good faith. Images are representative — colours and finishes vary between production runs. We do not offer a warranty on the products we sell. That does not affect your statutory rights, and an item that arrives damaged or materially different from its description is covered by our returns process.
Reviews and anything else you post
What you write stays yours. By posting it you give us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the site. Post only your own honest experience of something you actually bought. We may remove content that is unlawful, abusive, or not a genuine experience.
We do not pay for reviews and we do not give discounts in exchange for them. Our 15 % welcome offer is for subscribing to our email and is not conditional on leaving a review.
The 15 % welcome offer
One code per person and per email address, valid on a first order. Each code is single use and expires 30 days after it is issued. It does not combine with other offers and has no cash value. We may stop offering it to new subscribers at any time, which does not affect a code already issued to you.
Our content
The site, its text, images and branding are ours. Please do not copy or reuse them commercially.
Using the site properly
Do not interfere with the site, scrape it in bulk, or use it for anything unlawful. We may refuse or cancel orders where we reasonably believe this is happening.
Links to other sites
Where we link somewhere else, we are not responsible for what is there.
Disclaimers
The site is provided as-is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Fishing tackle involves sharp hooks, line under tension and water. Use it sensibly, keep it away from children, and follow the fishing regulations where you are.
Our liability
Our liability to you for any order is limited to what you paid for that order.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against us because you misused the site or broke these terms, you cover us for it.
Changes to these terms
We post changes here with a new date at the top. The terms in force when you placed an order are the ones that govern that order.
Ending this agreement
We may withdraw your access to the site if you break these terms. The sections that should outlast the agreement — our content, liability, indemnity and governing law — carry on after it ends.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Ontario have jurisdiction, and nothing in this section takes away a consumer-protection right you have where you live.
The rest
If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still stands. These terms, with our published policies, are the whole agreement between us. If we are slow to enforce something, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. We may transfer our rights under these terms to someone else; you may not without asking us. Neither of us is liable for a failure caused by something genuinely outside our control.
